Chris took up the game at around 10, and progressed through the junior ranks representing club and county around the UK.

Following from his successful junior career, Chris undertook a golf scholarship at the University of Stirling. During his time there he represented the university and the Great Britain University Golf team

 around the world as well as earning his degree.

In his final two years at the university he had a number of individual successes both at home and abroad. This led to him representing Scotland, firstly in France and then at the Home Internationals in England. Following this he went to Pro Golf Tour qualifying school where he earned full playing rights for the 2018 season. 

In his first season he managed to accumulate five top five finishes including two runner up finishes. This consistent play led him to finishing 10th in the final Pro Golf Tour order of merit standing.

After struggling in his second season as a pro, although managing to maintain his full playing rights on the Pro Golf Tour, Chris has had a very solid 3rd season as a pro. Having managed to earn his first professional win among a number of other solid finishes. He is looking to build on this going into next season as he trys to climb the ranks of professional golf.
